I've got an idea which might sound weired since I haven't met any server with something like this.
But to be popular we must be unique, hence something different in very common rules. All the servers are divided to few categories: Low/High XP Keep stats/Reset stats with +X*resets points bonus. (Ex: our server which is +350*resets points) The disadvantages of system: The more resets you get the faster your progress is (less time is required for reset, bonus is the same). And the closer you're to the edge (maximum character stats) the faster you go until you hit this milestone. The question is - what should you do after you hit this milesone? Spend some days PKing everyone, or be a good guy and help others with resets, probably you would like to get better gear which will add you extra 10 armor to your 10,000 armor. All those things won't keep you entertained for more than few days, maybe weeks. Another solution which all of you will go is go for another Class (Ellf, DK, etc). My solution: make the new Reset System which will dynamically change extra points you get with resets. In a nutshell: first few resets are going to provide lots of points: 1 reset: 415 points 2 resets: 828 points 3 resets: 1237 points ... 100 resets: 31,250 points 200 resets: 50,000 points 300 resets: 62,500 points The question which is comming next: what's changed? Here is the answer: the points are being controlled strictly by simple formula with very good properties. The amount of points you get with reset is calculated next way: F(resets) = 125,000 * resets / (300+resets) the properties of this formula are next: it's monotone and strictly increasing which means 2 main things: The more resets you have the more points you have to spend - makes the sense to any player. Another strong property: Derivative: F'(resets) is strictly decreasing and it means: The more resets you have the slower your total amount of points grows As a result we have: we have system which will help newbies to stay on their own feet since they get more points for reset. Another good point is that you're kept entertained since even after 500 resets u're still not maxed - hence you are still able to improve your character by making more resets. And there is also another hidden feature: which may sound unfair but is actually great, no matter how many resets you have you will still have less than 125,000 points. On the other hand it means that no matter how much you play u're given an opportunity to make your hero stronger by going for next reset. Another feature for the server itself: player vs player is more balanced. The ration between point difference of low resets player and high resets player is closer to 1 rather than with old system. I believe that some of u who got their chars maxed don't want to loose this opportunity to be "the stongest" and will be against the reformation I suggested, but don't forget that game is more interesting when there is something u can still reach. This change will not require server wipe or anything like this, everyone can have the resets they've got now but only points will be modified to current reset. Of course it is up to server administration to decide. Feedback is welcomed. |

As i read it ... its like all over the place....
So..... Here is some questions i need answered: 1. Do people get points for reseting? 2. I tired your formula.... F(300) and i got 69,445... << Is this for buying items or paying for resets? 3. When you say about the old system of how people are strong (aka max = 32767 for each stat).... What do u mean by this :The ration between point difference of low resets player and high resets player is closer to 1 rather than with old system.? 4. When you say... 500 isnt max.... and you can continue do you mean like continuing 32767??? because last season we had that and caused ALOT of problems. The server had the max on 65000 and alot of bugs came out of that.

1. Points for reset? After reset their stats are cleaned but they get "free points" to spend
2. F(x) is the function where X is amount of resets and value of function is amount of free points person has after reset. 3. I mean that free points 300 resets person has twice more than 150 resets person in old system. in new system the difference will be lower - F(300)/F(150) = 62.5/41.66 = 1.5 (far less than 2.0) 4. 500 isn't max is the resets, with old system you have no point to level up as soon as you reach 37k*4/350=422 resets This system woun't let you reach maximum (37k*4) but it still makes you stronger with each reset. |

2. I understand that.. but i followed ur rule and i got F(375) = 69,445(F(resets) = 125,000 * resets / (300+resets)) . So do i get 69k to buy items? cause that = F.O set currently... 3.I like this idea.... its not bad 4.37k??? where did that come from? 32767 *350 = 370. And what do u mean it wont let me hit 37k*4...Like impossible to reach 422 rr??? so ur saying decrease Server experience to like 200x or less?

Hotgal I'd recommend you some maths lessons
![]() Anyway I'll give a try to explain you once more. F(x) Function gives you free points you have to spend on stats. it has Absolutely NOTHING to do with Mu Cash! I don't know where "32767 *350 = 370" came from, I've written: 37k*4/350=422 where 37k*4 are maximum stats for character and /350 means we find out how many resets are needed to reach maximum with this system. With new system it is possible to reach 422 resets, you will not have full stats at 422, put 422 in Formula and see yourself. |

there is a math error in your system tho considering that 32767 = the max stats per stat ( and not 37K) and next to that DL's ( DL's having 5 stats to max instead of 4 ) and MG's usualy got a bigger amount of points after an RR

You got the point, formula values are example and will be optimized if idea is approved.
